I viewed several forums in my 6 month search. In an Infiniti forum for the FX35 they mentioned that some owners would return to find their windows down, sometimes with items missing from the inside of their FX. It seems the auto down feature for the windows was used by the thieves. They would stick a screwdriver in the door lock, turn and lower the windows then jump in.
Would this work on our Lexus'? There was a way to disable the auto down feature by disconnecting a wire. Anyone experience this?
if i am not misstaken you turn the key to the left if the key is in the door to roll everything up, i am not sure if the factory keyfob will do this. i have a aftermarket keyless wid remote start, and the window roll up is an option on it.
Factory remote wont let u roll up. If you attempt to hold down the lock button, you're essentially going for the 'panic' button. Lexus doesn't let u roll up the windows for safety reasons. I wish I could do it though. Perhaps some sort of hack? Its not too hard as long as I can find a way to disable the panic features
Yeah but Lexus doesn't want your daughters neck to be caught when you do that and then you blame Lexus for it. Even my Viper install guy had a problem with installing this module but I got it anyway.
