thanks i feel really welcomed, hope to be an asset to CL, well i was asking that question because i made an intake yesterday, it works fine, i had some issues at first the vaccumm line that is on the airbox had to be redirected into the intake tube which was made by a ford truck intake tube, and a K&N air filter, this thing is massive but works fine, heard about the problems with the MAF, but its sealed up pretty good, and idles smooth and the power transition is unchanged up until it hits VVTI, but other than that its a clean set up, have pics available if you guys want to see, and some more pics of my slammed GS on GT-C's.
will do as soon as get home, but it looks stock aside from seeing that huge 4" filter and huge 4" to 3" intake tube, it sounds like Vtec , but its okay i guess
i put a foam gasket and sealed the foam gasket with black gasket maker so its pretty sealed, so far no problems feels torquier and more responsive next up is tranny flush and B&M trick shift, to get those gears a little more firmer.
thanks it does need a engine hose down, the next step is to make an airbox so only cold air goes through the intake will do this week and post pics up of fiinished product. thanks to all of you very for being supportive and welcoming
You should also look into replacing the cam gear cover so the timing belt isnt exposed to the elements along with rocks etc... If a rock got caught up in the belt you could very possibly jump timing which could destroy your motor instantly.
