Default 03 GS300 with 20's and 245/35/20 Tires

Hi guys this is my first post. I am thinking about putting some 20's on my GS3 with a 245/35/20 tire size. My question is will it rub and if it does, is it bad and where will it rub? Also how much will it throw off my speedometer? I don't wanna go with with a 30 series tire. Thanks

Use the search thread, there is a lot of info on this subject... Going with that size tire with no drop, you wont rub but you have to also take into consideration on the offset of the rim...

you shouldnt have any trouble with thoes 20's. the only time i rub is when the steering is turned 100% the tire barley rub's the plastic finder lining. other than that its all good. here are the specs that i am running 20x8.5 with+40mm offset all arround 245-35-20 tire.

Welcome to CL!

Depending on your stock tire size, your speedometer will probably read 4-5% slow.

Try this link for a tire size calculator. http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

Are you talking about like an Eibach or L-tuned drop? I believe that is the most conservative drop unless you go with coilovers

L tuned drop.

Will it affect my wheels rubbing?

Sorry but Im on coilovers (TEIN CS) moderate drop with about 2 finger gaps. The only time it rubs is when I turn left full lock when backing up. It rubs against the plastic inner liner but not fenders.
