Default LexusRules - Corner Bumper Lights

Hey Sasha,

I just got a set of these myself. Do you have the instructions how to put these in?
Did you have shop put them in or did you do it yourself?

I'm assuming you just turn the wheel all the way and unstrap the
plastic wheel well? Two bolt. In and Out.

Or is it easier to get it up on the garage lift so you can work it from underneath?

Sorry for all the questions. I just wanted to know how easy/Difficult the install was for the clear bumper corners.

Oh yeaa.. How much did you pay for those? $38 to $80 range.

hey man nah i just dide it myself and there were no instructions.

What you do is lets say you do the right side first turn the wheels all the way to the left so that you can reveal the front plastic wheel well. you will notice one big bolt in the middle, take that off, then there is a bolt under the front bumper following the same general line, remove that, then with you hand pry the plastic out from the bumper enough so you can fit your hand in there. If you do it right nothing will brake and no paint will be scratched. Once you get in there the first thing you have to do is feel where it is. Once you find it then twist the bulb and pull it out. then there are two bolts holding it on, one at either end they are about 10mm and they have a built in washer so dont worry if it feels kinda weird. once you take the old ones off, just put the new ones in and its exactly the same, use the old bolts and it fits perfect. i would suggest new bulbs something like the Polarg M-4 for these lights though.

you can get them here:

they say IS lights but they fit GS perfect dont worry

It was a 20 min job for me, exactly described by sasha...I would say keep the OEM socket and don't use the one that came with the clear lights...
