sup Brian! I'm also on the look out for LS430 projectors, but sadly they are very hard to find even here in Japan. It's easier to find the LS460 ones than the LS430. But I'll let u know when I get a set that I want to sell.

Hey so I just wanted some clarification about the Q45 Retro.
I have a NON-Hid gs300 headlight, I know to get the bracket from Luxrymod.com (http://www.luxurymods.com/retrofitbrackets.aspx) and of course the q45 housing.
For the factory high beam location, I want to place a morimoto mini Bi-xenon projector. What shroud do you guys recommend for this location?

430's are the widest output, and it's because of the hole under the projector that directs light spillage out to to the sides of the car, and is why 430 projectors are left and right specific. You must change the ****ty stock fresnal lens out for a crystal clear lens to get a sharp cutoff line and better output.
S2000 projectors have a very crisp cutoff with the most color flicker, and all around are a very nice projector.
TSX has great output and has one of the sharpest cut off lines for a stock projector.
Those three are the classics, all three are low beam only. Then there are alot of other options of modified, hybrid, bi-xenon, and replica projectors out there that are good in their own respects. There is no clear winner as to what is the best projector.

The LS430 with clear lenses, Osram CBI bulbs, and 55w ballasts is so good I pretty much never use the highbeam for driving anyway, except to help read a street sign or something up high.

99 GS3 pretty much nailed it on the projector breakdown. The top level classics all have their strengths in different areas and once you start experimenting with the projector lens and then go into adding spacers you will get a range of results.
What I like about the ones smaller than the LS430 is that you can also get creative with the shroud. The M45 has one of my favorite shrouds which could be back lit with a separate led strip as a daytime driving feature. The Panamera shrouds are pretty nice too. Tons of custom shrouds out there that can be paired with the S2000 or TSX with a clear lens and possible a spacer or two. But I love the LS430 pattern when you are in the middle lane on the highway and you clear the darkness across all lanes, down the shoulder, and across the median.

I had their mini-d2s in the high beam of my 430 retro using the gatling gun shrouds. But after a couple months i took them out and put stock high beam bowls back in because i did not like how crowded the projector looked in small highbeam location, nor how busy it made the headlights look overall. I have since used the mini-h1 version in a set i did for someone, and it was a bit better looking, but the mini-h1 output isn't nearly as good looking as the mini-d2s.

Its like having all the latest phones...no one is better than another...just personal preference and tons of cash spent collecting them all until you finally see for yourself

ES330 Projector same as RX330 Non-AFS Projectors
To mount them I made some brackets from sheet aluminum from Lowe’s and cut to fit the housing and back of projector.

You're probably going to be around the $1000 range if you have someone do the LS430 retro for you. I'm doing a retro now and with a second set of headlights and the projectors and brackets I'm in about $150 already. Take a look on ebay. There are a few retros that are already done you could buy.

Any of the new projectors headlights from China will be trash so don't buy those.

I did my own. LS430 projectors with luxury mods a little cutting and trimming along with clear lens and you got yourself a dangerous set of headlights. Oh don't the CBI 5500k bulbs
