Default -=| Is it my speed sensor? Speedometer not working. |=-

Lost my speedometer after a touch-free automatic car wash, washing the undercarriage. I have look at the fuses under the hood, disconnect battery for a long period of time, still no speedometer. Still have the tach, temp and fuel level, but no speedometer. There is another fuse panel on the driver side left foot, I haven't check those fuse. I wonder if any of those fuses goes the speedometer? May have to take it to the dealer now. Any diagram of where the speed sensor is located?

The speed sensors are actually the ABS wheel speed sensors. There's one on every wheel. If one, two, or even three go out there's still one to provide a speed reading. It's very unlikely that all 4 will go out at the same time. Are any warning lights showing up on the dash? If not, maybe the ecu just went haywire. Reset the ecu by leaving the negative terminal of the battery unplugged for 20-30minutes and see if that cures your problem.

I took the positive terminal off for 30 mins, but the negative and positive should of matter. End results still the same no speedometer. And there no warnings lights. She drives fine, just no speedometer. I'm at a lost on what to try next.
