Default Ebay GS400 Project

Hey All, I have been browsing the forum for a week or so now and I just wanted to introduce you to my project. I bought this car off ebay a couple of weeks ago and am getting ready to get started on it. I have not even driven this car (except to back it into the garage) and I already love it. I look forward to showing you my progress as I move forward.

I already have the rails and will be replacing them this weekend. Next I need to get hood, bumper and fender. I am kind of going back and forth on whether to change the original look or keep it the same. Grille? Bumper? Lastly I will have it painted. Not sure what color yet but different than what it is. Eventually we'll go with new wheels but I have to watch the budget for now.

It got hit front left but not sure what. There is not damage to engine it fires right up and seem to be fine. We'll no for sure in the next couple of months I guess. It will be fun...I hope

The picture isn't as bad as it looks (externally atleast).

I would be more concerned with the alignment of the front suspension components. A slight bend in the lower control arm or a bent strut mount could cause you lots of #$ell and potentially never handle the same.

Once you are satisfied with the integrity of the suspension, then I would worry about the cosmetic appearances.

Clublexus will definitely be your best friend. And you will find lots of good used parts for dirt cheap here

Good luck and looks like fun!!

wow, you have a blank piece of canvas to work with. Just make sure every stroke (oh stop being perveted) is well thought out and you'll have a piece of art.

I could use and websites you all like to use to get parts. I have found some pretty good ones but any others that I could use would be great. Thanks!
