I have two avic n1s and I wouldn't call it the best... yeah the flip out screen allows the screen to be higher up on the dash so it's easier to see but the copper ribbon that powers the screen will experience metal fatigue over time as the unit opens and closes. this fatigue causes the ribbon to break and the screen goes dead.

that's the biggest drawback but the gps, g-force meter and other gauges make it cool to have.

Do you lose any compatibility with your cd changer or amp?

truthfully, you don't need to hook up the vss wire. with the new gps antenna, the accuracy of the gps wont be off by much.
but if you want, its a violet and white wire from the power steering ecu, located between the driver side kick and the abs ecu. its a blue harness with 5 wires in it.
pm me if you want a picture.

From what i can tell it says its somewhere in the area of the driver side kickpanel...plug #E4, PIN #5 (Im not that fluent i german myself )

Im not trying to argue or anything...but after having tried my fair share of sat.navs. im going to strongly advice you hook up the speedsensor..you will notice a big difference

search for a guy named LEXUSAUDIO. he says he can mod your stock pioneer cd changer to work with your aftermarket pioneer headunit.
