Default So, I'm REALLY tall...?

Hello everyone,
I am very interested in getting a 2G GS but my main concern is headroom. Are there any extremely tall people around the boards have at least driven if not own a GS? Only asking because there aren't any for sale in Savannah so I'd have to drive to Jacksonville or Charleston just to see if I would even fit. I know its really going to come down to me having to test drive one (I'm 6ft8) but I was wondering if you guys even thought it was remotely possible? Thanks for any input and I look forward to learning more about these great vehicles. A few of my family members swear by Lexus so I want to see what its all about! I also have a history of not keeping anything I own stock so it will be fun to see my next project come about.

Thanks again,

Open up the sunroof and you got yourself infinite headroom

The only way I see you fitting in this car is if you slam the seat down at its lowest position, and maybe if you recline the seat back a little. We got some pretty tall guys on this forum with GS, but I dont know about 6'8"

My father is 6'4" and fits just fine, he actually thinks it's comfortable.

Awesome,
Music to my ears! For me its never a question of how low I have to put the seat, its how far I have to lean back. Even in my Excursion if I lean back enough I can hit my head on the rear HVAC controls. Hearing a few 6ft4 guys say there is room makes me feel much better. Looks like I'm going for a test drive!

You're only looking at a GS400 or GS430 right?

Please do give us your impression/review/etc of the car whether its a positive or a negative review.

Hey if it makes you feel better, "Even Roy Jones was forced to lean back."

wow, that's really tall.

the GS is good since the steering wheel also telescopes forward.

6'4" here ... there's tons of headroom still available for me, and i wouldn't consider myself a slouch at all.

it really helps that we have the tilt/telescope wheel as well, since you can manipulate your seat independantly of having to worry if your hands will reach the wheel.
