garage / gate buttons
owner's manual or do search you may find it.. I think you have to hold down the middle button for a few seconds and then both outer ones at the same time.. I can't remember but it was pretty easy to do.. GL
The first thing you'll want to do is to clear out anything that's stored in there. To do this, press and hold the outer buttons at the same time for about 10-20 seconds. The light will blink slowly at first, and then it will blink rapidly when you're done.
Now, to program the buttons, you need to know whether the device you're trying to link to has the rolling code security feature. If not, all you need to do is drive around the block, hold the remote up to the button you want to program, and then hold down the button on the remote and the button you want to program at the same time for about 10-20 seconds. The light on the console will blink slowly at first, and then rapidly once it's been successfully programmed.
If the device you're trying to link to has rolling codes, there's one extra step involved. After completing the steps above, you need to get on a ladder and open up the garage motor. There should be a button in there that says "learn" or "program" or something like that. Press that button, and then go into your car and press the button that you just linked up with your remote and hold it for 2-3 seconds. You need to act quickly because you only have around 30 seconds from the time you press the learn button on your garage motor to complete this step. On most garage motors, there's a light that will flash on and then off when the step has been completed.
Hope this helps.
