Default Cheap ebay M3 Lip VS Small TTE Lip

To me they look pretty similar...show me some comparisons to change my mind...spend $50 on one + paint or $210 + paint for the other. Some one prove to me why your small TTE is worthy...some close pics of the top trunk lid seem to be pretty scarce from my research and I'm a search fiend. lets see fellas

I just placed an order for the TTE trunk lip spoiler and hope to have it painted and on within a couple of weeks. I will definitely post pics once I get my car back.

I chose the TTE because I know that it is made of quality materials and is very small and simple. Not too familiar with the ebay one.

TTE lip will fit better. Easier to install and made of quality material.

I think we all agree that the TTE is a more perfect fit and better quality. For me though, that spoiler design is so small that whether it is polyurethane or fiberglass shouldn't make a huge difference. If they had a replica front TTE lip that was fiberglass, I would definately not get that one though. All it would take is one speedbump or curb to crack it. The only thing I would worry about with the replica spoiler from Ebay is maybe not securing it properly and result in the spoiler flying off at high speeds. Then again, If you don't secure the TTE spoiler properly either, that would fly off also. The only other possible concern I would have is people who like to lift your trunk open with the spoiler.

Mr. White:

Why do we need to convince you? If you want to cheap out your Lexus by putting on a spoiler NOT intended for your car and NOT even OEM for the BMW M3...then go for it! It's your car - do what you want!

If you want nothing but the best, then go for the TTE lip.

Simple as that.

I think that tiny lip looks weak, I prefer the Sportdesign style spoilers that aren't huge 3pc. but are larger than that TTE.

I think the Sport Design lip is too big (for a lip) ..But if your looking for something simple the TTE lip is it...But if your going for a full on bodykit/lip kit then I would go for the JP 3 piece wing
