Here are some pics of my dash: Please notice the DRL color it is suppose to be yellowish <i know its ugly)...I noticed that when my Camera was set on Auto White Balance my gauges looks blue. However, by adjusting them to daylight the color became more true. These were all taken this evening.
Mine seems to closer to Pic 2 but it is a little blueish like pic 1...too bad Pic 3 is actually pretty cool. Also notice that my Guages also matches my stereo and climate controls.

there is no "real color" as i have just learnt from ray, the EL (electro luminece i think) changes color with the voltage applied to it.... or at least i think thats how i understand it. So if a little bit different voltage is applied a different color illuminates... im guessing it may also have somethign to do with the temperature and that might maybe explin the difference between here and there.. For the most part mine is white but looks green in pictures... but i want it to have a bluish tint at times....
we'll see what happens
we'll see what happens
The gages in the GS is the real thing, it is there for the purpose of BETTER visibiliy and simple of use. It actually cost money to make it. Not just a face plate with blue light bulbs behind. It won't hurt your eyes at night or distract you like the wanna be's.
Nissan, Civic, etc try to copy the GS gages but they are just cheap looking like the 300M. Lexus make it for the purpose of long lasting and easy to use. Others then try to make it to look similiar so they can say "Hey mee too".
I am just rambling...

On the other hand, I think the color varies when you adjust the intensity and camera work. Here is mine with brightness all the way up and in between. I'll try to get a shot with it looking very blue.
Mine lights up indiglo white in the background and the numbers are black. When they are switched off, the numbers light up indiglo white while the background is solid black.
Pretty nifty huh? Must be a Vertex edition thing....

Ok the last set of pics were rushed....here is a better one. Also, didn't realize the Attach file function at the bottom of the post reply...doh.
I realized that after driving around today that the guages do not match the stereo or climate control...(even they don't match each other)
It seems they (guages) have a tint of blue to white. Not really green.
Sorry for the mix-up earlier...damn camera...hehe
