Those EL panel gauges can vary in color. In Taiwan they sell EL panels that changes to mulitple colors such as blue green purple yellow white red and orange. Very cool. I'm trying to see if one of those control devices can plug in to the existing GS gauges.

Don't they sell custom indigo gauges for Lex GS? Although every civic has it, they still look dope!

Doesn't GlobeCLK have a 2000 GS? It looks like he definitely has blue/white gauges...

Anyone else with pre-2001 have white/blue gauges?

Wei's 2002 GS430 has blue/green gauges. My 2000 GS300 has blue/green gauges. Ted's 1999 GS300 has blue/green gauges. I've NEVER seen a GS with YELLOWISH ones. Where did you see that?

And I don't recall ANYTHING about new gauges in 2001 except for the new chrome rings. No color change at all. Where are you getting your info from?

They don't see indiglo gauges for the GS. Why do they need to? Every GS has it already!!

All the afternarket indiglo gauges don't compare with the ones the GS has. Aftermarket indiglo gauges glow at a brighter intensity, and the color is REALLY blue. I've seen it in person and I think it's alittle harsh on the eyes. It's too bright but the blue color is too deep. The GS indiglo is better as you can adjust the brightness of it, and the color is between blue and green which isn't so eye-damaging. That's called BETTER QUALITY INDIGLO.

The indiglo from the 300M sucks too. Looks so fake.

I have indiglos on my Civic (ok, ok, I know) and you can adjust them all you want. They come with a special converter that can change color of them gauges from green to blue in 5 steps and regulate the brightness also. I agree that the quality might not be even close to GS stock ones, but they look much better and they are more adjustable too.

Ehat I was thinking about is if the gages in GS and Indiglos use the same technology, I wonder if you can use the Indiglo inverter to tune and tweak the stock GS gauges!

That's one good thing about aftermarket indiglos, adjustable colors.

That's what I'm trying to figure out. I've contacted a company that makes indiglo gauges in Taiwan (they're the first to come out with the aftermarket indiglo gauges in the world, meaning for Civics Integs, etc. and they're the first to come out with adjustable colors and brightness). They said they're spending alot of time making new types of Indiglo gauges (and yes they're the ones to come up with the 7 color indiglos too) and they've thought about making inverters for cars with indiglos already, but the market is so small (the numbers of GSs and 300Ms in Taiwan are very rare compared to Civics and Corollas) so they're not in a hurry to do some R&D in that part yet. but they did say it's a possibility, since they're working on the add-on inverter for older indiglos with no color and brightness change.

Yeah. Go to www.groupbuycenter.com and you can find all the indiglos for Civics you want. They are about $50 for the set now days. If you need all kind of other info e-mail me at retrodrive@iname.com and we can talk about it.

GlobeCLK:
I think its not very hard to implement the existing power inverters to all kind of gages. The technology is the same. Just need to find a guy who knows the technology of the inverter.

do you know what is triggering the color change? It's not any bulbs and it's not the color of the piece. I've heard it's the current and the voltage that's changing the color. Do you know how it's doing it?
