CONTROL ARM / LOWERING CAR QUESTION.. HELP plz!!

CONTROL ARM / LOWERING CAR QUESTION.. HELP plz!!
GOT MY RIMS AND TIRES 20x8.5 with 42 offset all around.. front tires are 245/35/20 and the back tires are 255/35/20
now i have H&R springs.. which lowers the car like what?? about 1.5" ?? ...
the control arm is like sitting half an inch away on top of my front tire... i was wondering when i get the car lowerd with the springs, will the control arm lower too (casuing the control arm to rub my tire) or is it like when you lower the car only the body drops and the control arm stays in the same place and not touching my tires...
