Default Rear LED Lights

I'm interested in upgrading to these and have been looking on ebay. There seem to be a plethora of these on Ebay currently. Are they all from the same manufacturer? What things should I avoid? I followed the thread here and he seems to have had a good experience. I like the look of those but I also like the look of these.

Any tips or advice before I purchase?

Thanks

Thanks anyway

Yes, that's why I decided to go with those. They are also 4 piece, so you get LED inners as well.

Thanks for the replies

So I installed them today.

Pretty simple, except that they didn't come with bulbs for the indicators. So I had to pull them out and go to the local automotive store to get bulbs.

I got the car with 2 different sets of lights and was going to replace the passenger side with an OEM unit which cost the same as the pair of LEDs

The previous owner cracked the rear tail light and it was replaced with a different tail light.

Both the navigation/audio system and the LED lights look awesome!

How much did the lights run you? And you bought those on ebay? What is the quality like compared to OEM lights? Any obvious differences?

Can you link us to the eBay link?

Also, it sets off your light warning on the dash right?

Thanks.

The lights were $396.00. They are much nicer then the lamps I replaced. Very shiny plastic and look more 'modern'. They look even better off.

Here's the link to ebay. It's K2 motor and I believe they are the only one that offers a 4 piece kit.

They do set off the dash light. It's the inner LEDs that are the culprit. The dash light is a bit annoying. Unlike the front warning light, it's on all the time, not just when the lights are on. I may switch them out for the originals. Any opinions?

I just got the Carson Toyota LED Tails used in the classified. While I'm waiting until they make LED inners that do NOT set off the lamp out indicator light, what bulbs do you guys recommend to replace the stock inner bulb to get a brighter, deeper red to somewhat match the LED tails a little better?
