Default Wood steering wheel

I found a shop that do quality work on converting stock steering wheel to wood wheel for a reasonable price.

The only thing is the conversion takes about a week. So my car will be down for a week. I was thinking about buying a cheap GT steering wheel from Pepboys and put it on for a week during the conversion. Anyone knows if this will work? Any special sizes of wheels that I should get to fit GS?

Any inputs will be appreciated.

Check with your Lexus Dealer there is a wood kit for the wheel they have that cost about 575.00 and they can do it in about a day.

ceoart---I remember someone talking about that one day, but I never got a reply back from him. Where did you find out about the dealer having a wood kit??? I asked my dealer, but I really don't think they know what they are talking about. Is there anyway that you can get a part number from your dealer if they have the kit??? Post it up for us, if you can.

Thanks

Call up Countyline Lexus and ask them about the wood kit for the wheel. Here is their phone number just ask for the parts department. (954) 966-4800
