Default Body Kits

Hello everyone, I was supposed to buy a body kit last week, but I was stuck in my normal dilema of what to buy. I was planning on going with the RMM front/Veilside side/Veilside rear, but I am not sure about that combo. David @ GT Autosports has a good price for the RMM and Steve has pretty good pricing on the Veilside stuff. I was wondering if any of you guys can suggest parts which are between 600-800 dollars each. I might even go with the basic RMM kit. Just wondering what you'all think.

Those parts, i've had for over 1.5 years already on my car and they work really well. Here are more pics of my car, for those who haven't seen them. Feel free to ask any questions.

MIKEGS4PE--if you don't mind, can you tell me the price that you got for that setup---Rod Millen front, Veilside sides, and Veilside Rear Bumper. If you don't want to post it, can you please either PM me or e-mail me at ap0718@clublexus.com

Thanks in advance

Are'nt we all worried about clearance?! I agree, the Win is the sh**! If ever I decide to go w/ a bodykit, that will be "The One"

GSNAV - I like your set-up, but for some reason on our silver cars, it just seems like the front end seems to be a bit lower in the front as compared to the sides. Hard to explain, but I am not sure it is the best match for the sides. Do you have any pics of your car with a straight side shoot of the car? It may also be the size of the wheels that is playing with my mind. I know you are also planning on going with 19s, but I will be using my stock rims for a while. Can you e-mail what costs you paid for labor on the kit? Just wondering what kind of fit these have. gsmike400@hotmail.com

AP0718 - You have mail!

Andy - I like the Win kit, but I am afraid of the large gap left in the rear for the dual tip exhaust. Not sure I want to try and pull off that kit... Besides, there are too many copy kits available.

Is the RMM complete kit worth it?

BTW...I sold my last set of wheels, so the reason I am doing a kit before wheels now is because my front bumper and rear deck lid were hit. Basically, the insurance company is paying me for a painted front bumper, replaced, and is replacing the deck lid. I figure this is the best time to do a kit and match the paint, etc.

yeah..why does it look like the rmm front is lower than the sides? any other fronts out there that wont be as low..so that it matches the sides of the vielside kit?

and one thing that i always wondered...why the is the rear of the gs sooo damn high? its like that stock and almost every body kit out there keeps that height..like the bottom of the rear bumper is at a slant and as u get to the end of the car its sooo high off the ground. actually it doesnt look that bad nymore..maybe im gettin used to it..

FIERCE GS - I do understand what you are getting at. I still haven't gotten use to it yet I guess... The only kit I know that keeps the line from front to side very well is the the Blitz kit, but I cannot afford it...

At any rate, I think I am going to the Albert's set-up with the RMM front/ and the rest Veilside.
