not if he doesn't lower it. 19s fat will make the car almost 1.5 inches taller.

I have the stock chrome 17s and like them ok - but will wait until I need tires and get a package so wife won't notice.
Alot of the vibration that Lexus owners (especially GS'ers) feel is just the suspension hardware aging. There have been quite a few posts here with owner that have had their lower end serviced (bushings, control arms yadda) and reported great success

still because of the now stiffer sidewall the handling will be better, as the sidewall won't flex as much in hard cornering

i have a stagger 20x10 and 20x8.5 and i love the feel yes you will hear more road noise due to smaller side wall but the wider wheels and small side wall will improve cornering and you'll have less wheel gap but after i lower my car damm what a different.. so bigger is better for me

Thanks bro!!! After seeing the Toyota Japan skirts and rear with the TTE lip I'm tempted. Maybe not for a while though XMAS, bills blah blah blah.

Post pics when you get wheels in regards to this thread.

That is when the rear wheel and tire are wider in the rear.

the height of the car is only changed due to the difference in radius, not diameter though

the car height is affected from the bottom of the tire to the middle of the wheel which is the radius
in this case, its 0.7 inches
