Default 19" or 20" wheels?

I'm looking into getting a new set of wheels and I'm undecided between 19s or 20"s. Keep in mind I'm a daily driver and don't want to be worrying about rubbing(i will be on f-sport suspension soon) or having to make fender mods. just wanted to hear opinions on which size wheels looks nicer on our ISs. The fact that I got 18" stockies and Im planning on making the expense on new wheels, makes me lean towards 20's as it will a bigger difference, however Ive done some research in the forum and 19s seem to be the prefferred size around here. I'm also interested to hear about any possible difference in ride quality between the 2. Any thoughts/comments would be appreciated.

19 will ride better, look noticeably different than the 18's and allow a little more sidewalk making a nicer ride and more protection for the wheel. 20's will have cheaper tires and be bAllA, but smaller sidewall to keep from rubbing and you can't get as low typically

If you want a daily that you can just get in and not worry, I'd get 19's. A lot will have to do with the width and offset of your wheels. Tire widths will come into play as well. Do your homework or ask in the thread "will these wheels fit?"

Thanks guys. Im looking into the Forgestars F14s but not really sure on how the offsets work. I would like the wheels to be flushed and not coming out. any sugestions on what offset range i should be looking at. Also besides the forgestars any other nice set of similar wheels in the same price range. Thanks again.

I think ride is negligible between the two. 19s and 20s look great on the IS. DenIS250, what style do you like? We have various members running Vossen wheels on her

Looking at the wheel you mentioned, this might suite your style. Its 20" but its a new limited edition finish.

19" in the CV2 and CV1 is also coming Any questions, post them up here, thanks!

And this is an IS F, not a 250/350 but here is CV3 20" setup.

Den, thanks for the compliments. I'll still try to help as I can with questions.

One thing to think about is having the same size wheels all around or a staggered setup. Running 19x8s all around will allow you to rotate tires/wheels.
