Default K&N intake system

I just went on the website and it says it is available for the GS 400!!!
Did this just come out?
Or did I just sleep through the good news.
How much of a horsepower gain do you guys think the kit really makes?
Lastly, does anyone have this setup in their car???

It has been available for the GS 400 for awhile now . Time to wake up when its being dicussed. j/k .

HP gained , hmmmm............. .025 . Not much if any HP will be gained by this mod . Its only good cause you can reuse the filter and save some change.

Do any members have this ? I think there are a handful of guys with this mod .

Thanks for the info man.
They advertised 11 horsepower. I figured since its a reputable company, I am sure to get atleast 25% of that, but .025 horsepower, thats a joke. Thanks for saving me from wasting money on that P.O.S. upgrade.

K&N Replacment filter ,,, well ok I have one yes ,,, did it make a preformance difference??? I would say not at all or the HP gain is so small it has no use for street use,,,, However its very good in the long run and does pay for itself to tell you the truth wash them and put them back no need to buy another air filter again

If you want horsepower increase, you will have the best result with an "open" filter. One that isn't located in the factory plastic box. but be sure it gets cool air, hot air will make you lose hp.

When I said that K&N introduced an intake system, I was not talking about just the replacement filter.
I am interested in getting their "FIPK intake kit" Its a complete intake system. Does this one only add less than 1 horsepower, or were you refering to the drop in filter?
Thanks
