V8 badge on GS400?

V8 badge on GS400?
I was just at a grocery store in my town.
And I saw a GS400 with a V8 emblem on the side just behind
the front tire.
I did not think our cars came with a V8 emblem, am I wrong or did someone add it on?
My wife and I both have 1999 Gs400 and don't have V8 emblems.
Does anyone with a 1998 or 2000 have this emblem on their cars?

Well, if your cars don't have the V8 emblems, then you and your wife probably both have the very rare GS400 6-cylinder models. It's a 4.0 liter inline 6 borrowed from Jeep, I believe. Maybe you better check under the hood.
