Does anyone know whether it's easier to install new stock exhaust tips with the mufflers on or off the car? The tips are not welded on, but just slide on with some force (I'm told that it's helpful to have a rubber mallet for the last few inches). I think there are reasons going both ways, but has anyone actually done it?
