Please describe noise.
Grinding, whirring, buzzing, whispering.
When does it occur, can you stop it, etc.

Behind the glove box is the blower. Mine needed a little lubrication once, was making an extra whisper when it was cold.

Behind the vents is a flow valve that can make a louder grinding sound if the gears strip.
edit: like the sound below.

Also, if your car makes the sounds of small children, that's something else to worry about.

Does it sound like water flowing or sloshing around?

This sounds like it could be one of the 3 electric motors that modulate the heater/AC system. These were mentioned in a thread last week. A couple of .pdf's were psoted showing the wiring diagram of these motors. Perhaps this link will get you there:

If someone takes the radiator cap off to check the coolant, air gets in the system and the result is that sloshing sound under the dash. Not sure what they did, but it cost me $10 bucks for the lexus dealer to get that air out of the system. Someone explained to me how to do it, but I've forgotten the explanation.
