strange rattling noise when accelerating

I am having this problem as well right now. Doesn't sound like an engine knock, definately sounds like a heatshield. Must be a common thing with Toyota. Same thing happened on my 1999 Toyota Tacoma.

That happened to me, and i thought it was the C-converter and had it looked at, it was actually the tighning rings that hold the muffler to the car that were rusty, and loos,e they tightened them and it was good as new.

when my stereo is off, and when i step on the gas, ive been hearing this slight rattling sound
frequency of rattling is faster than your normal rattle
it sounds like it is coming from behind the steering column or something
is this a common problem or will i need to get someone to look into it?
