Need help taking off Intake Manifold
My starter's gone bad and I'm trying to replace this myself.
I took off all the nuts and bolts (around 15 of them) around the manifold, took out the throttle body and disconnected the various pipes. My upper intake manifold can now be lift and separated but there seems to be something in the back that's holding it in. I can lift the rear (closer to the firewall) of the upper manifold about an inch or so but that's about it. I tried wiggling it and moving the manifold around but no use, it just wont come off. Am I missing anything else?
The water bypass valves are in the way and they are near impossible to take out with those heavy duty clamps and 7 years of seal..i can't for the life of me remove them and get a clear view of what's going on in the back.
If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.
