tiny, I think it depends as much on body color as wheel size. The black color of your car maximizes the appearance of the wheel opening (just one great big black hole!!)

bitkahuna has a silver GS with 18s and they "fill the hole" much better, appearance-wise..........but I agree that on your ride, they look too small.

If your car is lowered, the Greddy PE's canisters will scrape guaranteed.

tinygs:
Actually, I don't think 18's look that bad on your car. However, the SSR Integral's look small in general. There are a variety of 18" wheels that look larger...IMHO

I agree about the look of the canisters, It doesnt rub though....You just have to be TOO careful, always thinking about it.(headache)
Im going to do what you did in the VERY bear future Brent, but I will leave the Greddy tips. Im going to get the canisters raised about 1", and have the pipe on the "car-side" of the exhaust shortened by 1.5". The way it is designed it hangs very low, and the tips stick out really far so you dont get exhaust residue on your bumper.(too far..unnecesary) JacobT altered his in this same fashion and it looks awesome...
Hey Brent, did the shop you used detach the canister hangers and re-weld them lower on the canister?(hence a higher ground clearance) Or did they use another procedure like altering the hanger on the car? Please let me know, thanks, Tiny

Hey Tinygs,

How was the quality of the SSR rims? Do you think they are in good quality or just another company..

Sinchan, SSR is an awesome rim. They are very well crafted, although I did not know how good until after I bought them. If you ask any knowledgable person who has researched aftermarket wheel manufacturers, they will tell you SSR is one of the best made. They have some wheels (like the Integral) that are sold in the US market and others that you have to order from Japan. They are available in one or three piece forged designs.
If you post this same question in the "Wheel Forum", you will be able to get a better informed answer about SSR from some of our other members...Hope that helped a little, Tiny.

Any CL member live in Valley Ranch (Irving/Coppell) area?

You actually have to cut the piping from the flange that connects to the midpipe and to the muffler and rebend new pipes that would raise the canisters higher. Modifying the hooks or the hanger on the car won't do it...
