Default How do I open center console?
Hey guys. how do I open the shifter housing to gain acess to the bulb inside? I want to change the shifter bulb to LED. What tools if any are needed? HELP...lol

I think this job is actually tool-less. I believe you open the center console and pop the woodgrain from there. Ive already done this mod and its easy.

Pop it from where? Do you remove the ashtray and pull up the console from there?

You might have to pull the ashtray, its been so long I forgot. I used a small flathead to pop the woodgrain where the latch is for the center console armrest.

Atlanta, GA. There is a caravan for the uper North East folks. Hameed is driving down from Canada, perhaps you can meet up with him. Check out the NELOC section for more info on the LEXFEST caravan.
