Question Dull Performance with TRD air filter, should I reset the comp?

I don't feel any improvement after installation of TRD air filter. My ex Camry had a great results after installation. Should I reset the computer in order for engine to "see" more incoming air?

For the future:
Is the R-weapon the best intake for GS 300?
Is it going to void my extended warranty?
Is it loud? Do you feel any extra horses  ?

Thanks

Is it a drop-in type filter? If it is then you probably only gain 4 hp.

I would say about 0.4 hp.

and for the GS300, even if you get the whole intake you wouldn't get that much because the air/fuel ratio is still stock. More airflow is good but there's not much fuel to go with it.

Get at least a pipe and filter. Not just a drop-in.

I'd give things a couple days to adjust,my older SC took that long before things worked better.
I could tell that things were changed right away, however.

yea esspecailly since TRD is like $80, you may as well save an extra 120 and get a pipe and cone filter which will give u about 8HP instead of less than one

You will probably see nothing with a drop in. Consider buying a intake/ECU combo, such as the ones from Weapon R and SRT. FYI, Rodney at MAS Wheelhouse has the Weapon R setup. I don't know anyone off-hand in the Bay Area with a GS300 SRT setup.

You can alter the opening to the airbox by adding a ram air duct from a high pressure zone, works great, better than the hot air from under the hood!
