How do you do that? You put masking tape around everything but the orange? Then you sprayed the red and the orange became red?

I did the same also. I put on two coats and one coat of clear coat. I then baked the taillights to really let the tint soak in. The Lexus service techs thought it was OEM. Pretty cool.

This is the only picture that I have without showing my plate. I'll try to take some better pictures later.

When I painted the tails, I removed them completely and cleaned them really well making sure there was no dirt on them. Then I covered the the parts of the tailight I didn't want to paint with tape and newspaper. I also made a tape cutout of the clear lens part at the bottom. So the clear section is clear and the orange part was tinted red.

I've seen the tape and it will look good at first but will begin to dull out and lose the OEM look.

Oh and I believe GammaLex's GS (The black GS you posted) was done with spray not with tape. I think.
