Default another GS purchase?

I was looking at a 2003 GS430 for $32,000 with 35,000 miles Black on black. I currently have a 99 GS 400 106,000 which I have for about 3 years. I still owe about 8500 and the trade in value according to Kelly Blue Book is about $11,000.

Just see what others would think?

Thanks!

My opinion - the minimal added features you get for the $$ you list are not worth it.

what i'd do:
finish paying off the car, then use the money you saved from buying the new one to make your car everything you could ever want it to be! 100K+ miles on these motors isn't anything, remember.

I would also keep the car and use the money to spiff up the current ride.

$32,000 sounds high. I'd keep the V8 too. A lot of people have regretted not getting the 400/430 in the first place.

keep the v8. buying the gs3 for more money when you can easily pay off your gs4 in a short amount of time just doesn't make sense.

if it's a mileage issue - don't worry about it. there is a documented gs4 on here with over 300,000 miles, can't say the same about a gs3 unfortunately... ...yet.

either way- both engines are very well built. don't throw yourself into a pool of debt just so you can drive a newer car with fewer miles - it just doesn't make any financial sense.

Yeah, that does sound a bit high. I bought my 2002 GS 300 in Oct. 05 for 25,000. It had 31,000 miles when i got it. Just look around-i'm sure you'll find a good deal. I love my 300, but I will definitely get the V-8 next go round.

The 2003 Im looking at is a GS430, not a 300. I just found out that I have to replace the AC condensor about 700.00( just for the part) and I just replaced the AC compressor a month a ago with the water pump and timing belt. Still up in the air on this though. Keep the response's coming.

Thanks!!

how about you sell me your gs4 for 11k? j/k. Honestly, i would keep your gs4 for longer... the gs4 is arguably the fastest gs from 98-05

Default I just got a GS430

I just got a Black/Tan 2002 GS430 with 61,000 miles for $24,000. The car has ML, Nav, Spoiler, 17 OEM Chrome wheels.

Is it a good price? I'm in San Diego.

I would hold onto your car for another year or two, pay it off and then get a 3rd gen GS
