Lightbulb Prussian Blue Kit, who has it....

To my fellow CL memnbers, just out of curiosity, I would like to know if anyone from here is running a Prussian Blue Kit on their GS 400/430?

I am thinking about buying this kit and would like to know how the fitament is and how you mounted yours? I know that I have seen some running them in the magazine, but I dont know if any members are running it on there GS here in the states or better yet in the So. Cal area.

Thanks for all of your help.

Cheers,

Revhard191

Thanks DruMnBaSS,

I am still working on getting it all together, but I am looking at my options for everything since my color is a bit different then the norm. I really want the JP grill, but at $800 I am thinking about getting that as one of my final mods. As far as the Air Runners go, I have yet to install them, and it is killing me every time I look at them sitting on the floor with everything. I am trying to find a weekend that I can dedicate to my install, and to fabricate some of the mounting pieces, so it is taking me some time. Can you send me some pics of your set up, and how you set up your air?

I have the electronics and will not be using the standard switched that were supplied with the system. I will run it off of the electronic monitoring system along with the remote that was included with it.

I am finding myself just buying stuff without installing them, and it is frustrating to the max because I have some stuff I want to install but dont have the time to do it.

If you have pics that you can share, please shoot them my way to this email address: revhard191@msn.com

Cheers,

Revhard191

As they say, pimpin aint easy! And I am still learning how, since there are alot of nice Lexus's here on CL that I can droool over....

Not sure about a body kit, but he prussian blue fenders are actually OEM Lexus fenders where they modded it to install the the vents.

Basically they did the body work for you on an OEM fender.

Fit wise it is OEM of course.

As you can guess they charged a pretty penny to graft on those vents to a new OEM fender.

I can only afford the kit and that is all for right now, but the fenders are Hawwwt, but they are also about $1,000 each....I can live with out that. I thought that they were fiber glass though?

Either way, they are some sweet fenders and I wish I could afford to have that whole thing, but it is just not in my Modding budget. Plus my wife is about to kill me for spending my money on my car. As long as she is happy and getting gifts, she is cool with me modding to a point.

Cheers,

Yeah, it has been one of the kits I have been eyeing since I bought my GS. I like it because how clean and unaggresive it is. It looks real simple and clean, but those fenders are Hawwwt as well, just too much $$$ for me right now.

tkracing (think thats the right name) has the fenders and like Glen said, OEM with the vents. I know tkracing said if he would have known that he would have made his own fenders for the price. The kit though does look nice.

DruManBaSS:

Yeah, I hear ya, I am swamped here but always on CL most of the day reading and checkin stuff out. Gosh, too may things to think about for which kit will go best with my color and my car.

I am feelin the Prussian Kit thou, but now I heard that the Wald Kit is close to the same with less $$$......Decisions.....Decisions.....

I really wanted to know how many on CL are actually running this kit. I like to be a little different and that is why I choose my color on the GS. Who knows, I just need to pick one and just do it, but the only thing is that if it does not look good on my car I am out $$$$.

Cheers,

Revhard191

the prussian blue kit is clean looking. The fenders though dont look right on a gs. Wald is a good choice, so is the Mac Blick kit
