Damn I've been trying to do a burnout in my 2001 GS3. I hold the brake then accelerate but I don't leave any treadmarks. To about how many rpm's should I take it and for how long? Or just give a description of how you guys do your burnouts.

Read my thread where I did my burnouts. I think I have it in detail on the first page on how to do the burnout. I take it up close to redline....6000rpm or so. Then when i let off, I just keep it floored until the car catches traction and shift into 2nd. This is to get the biggest smokeshow possible. If you just wana do a small burnout....do it at around 3-4k is ok.
