Thats the Kandy clear I was referring to, its real subtle and not as dark as CF, looks almost blue until you get up close.

Here are the pics of the blue CF hood that A and I are referring to:

Hard to tell it is CF in this pic:

Its got that understated CF look, which looks perfect IMHO

yeah painted CF is good

plain black CF to me means ricers
ppl who paints it means theyve got some class and wants a bit more performance by decreasing weight

I would do the CF hood on mine but paint it. Way down the line I will knock this mod out.

DO IT!!! Just make sure to add some paint to it, unless you are going to go for the "racy" look.

honestly i dont think cf is really that rice at all or that it takes away from the vip look.. carbon fiber things are not that cheap and honestly, i dont see why not.. i think it looks alrite and if some guys like it then more power to them... i think it would look frikkin damn good on a black car or any color if the scheme flows well..

i would NOT say putting black CF is rice...however i would say that it strays away from VIP style at least...when you talk about crown majesta, president, q45, LS430, etc...the VIP owners for those cars rarely ever put CF on their car...and in terms of chassis...they are the baller VIP cars...just my 2 cents tho

cf is supposed to save weight, etc, implying a race or racey type setup

i think sitting on vip wheels, air runner, or other vip-esqe parts is the exact opposite

this is a 4 dr rwd sedan, not an soarer...it takes away from the look of the car imho

keep the styles seperate, and either or looks great. vip aristo or turbo raced out aristo

dont mix n match and look like a gender confused dude in too tight jeans :O

This color scheme on a blue car looks perfect. I wonder how it would look on a silver car though...........

So what color would the light silver end up looking like though? It's hard to imagine what it would look like without actually seeing it...............
