Default Finally!!!

After working for Lexus for almost 5 years... i finally own a Lexus. It only took selling everything i own to buy a condo, then buying a daily driver Civic for 6 months, then having someone run a red light to total said Civic... lol... Insurance gave me almost $7k for my 97 Civic.. which i added a couple grand to, and bought a 1998 GS400... Its mostly stock.. has Tein Coilovers, body kit, k&n fipk, and thats about it... The car has Nav, heated seats, and HID's Fully loaded 156k miles, but runs pretty good... needs only a few things... heres some pics...

BTW... im looking for wheels if anyone has some.. also looking to upgrade the brakes and maybe some other stuff... drop me a message

Welcome to CL! It looks like you're off to a very good start with a couple mods already! Add a fresh set of staggered 19" rims (check the wheels classifieds) and you'll be set.

Yea, i bought it just like it is.. i picked it up yesterday. If you look at my join date, ive been lurking here for years... i used to hang out in the maintainence section just helping people out... Now i actually have a car, lol... The exhaust is stock, the previous owner welded some tips on it, and it looks like hell... so im looking for an exhaust too. My list for this car... wheels first, clean up the headlights, exhaust, maybe some more suspension stuff... but before all of that, i need to replace the bad steering rack and lower ball joints Thanks for the re-welcome guys!!

Man, the best thing about you finally buying your GS is that your qualified to do all of your own work on it!!! I might have to add you to my buddy list so I can ask you about stuff!! hahaha! I like that you got the Navi and HID's on yours too (stuff I shouldve waited for in my search for my 98 GS several years back )

Nice pickup on the GS. Just don't hang out with TAMR_GUS98 to much or he'll have you painting/polishing the engine parts too.

Congrats. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. There's just something about burnished gold that is very classy.
