Default headlight ON timer after cars locked - programming question...

hey guys.. short and sweet: do i have to go to the dealer to get the car (98 gs400) programmed so my headlights stay on LONGER after i arm my alarm? currently they only stay on for about 20 seconds and i wouldnt mind the extra light for a little longer while im walking inside at night.. if theres programming options from the key, etc. and anyone knows how that would be awesome.

thank you

1998's require the dealership to do it with a scan tool. Mine wants $37 to change my settings.
