The passenger inner tail light lens is discolored, orange in color at night when I have my lights turned on. It looks like a bad mod job having a red and orange tail light.

I want to replace the lens of this light and was wondering if I have to replace the whole tail light assembly which will be $80 (light assembly includes the lens, gasket back, bulb backing and socket/wire or can I just reaplace the Lens(#2 in the diagram) which will run $45.

I don't know for sure but I am pretty certain that the whole thing needs replaced. Have not known any Lexus cars that will allow you to replace only the lens.

i think he means the lens and reflector for $45 which you can replace...no need to replace bulb socket, wiring, and gasket.

 

Yea...what he said.....just want to replace the discolored lens and reflector....what is a reflector?
