Spare headlights comes in handy.

Once you do it, you're gonna be stuck with it so you might as well finish it. I think it's a great mod. Worse comes worse, you have to custom make your own mounts. The only thing u really need to modify is your reflector housing. SInce I messed up on that, i completely eliminated that. Then again, I like it without the reflector

no condensation whatsoever.

some to think of it, I never had that problem, from the day I bought my car about 2 months ago.

If you have condensation problems, buy these:
http://www.hidplanet.com/silica.html

$5 shipped for a 4 packs. Put two in each headlight, or stuff more!

so thats what those packets are...the ones you find when you buy sneakers and stuff...I always wonder what those packets were, they always stress that the gel pebbles were hazardous to eat

oooo that should be the new trend! Every GS guy who does a retrofit gets the headlights painted to match the body color! I saw a E46 at the SEMA show and the headlights inside were painted to match the body color, was a nice touch. I dont know if BMW does that standard but GS retro guys should start doing it, it looks awesome.

I was actually thinking of doing that
But I didn't feel like paying a body shop $100 to paint the inside. I guess I could just use a spray can of glossy white, but then it won't have the pearl and metallic particles.

If it's only $100 I would be happy to pay it.
