What do you guys think about this?

A friend of mine told me to try japan yahoo auctions, so last night I went to the site and found alot of cool stuff for pretty cheap like this.http://page12.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/p23191590
And I have a freind who lives in japan, do you think shipping will be alot?

Nice wald kit. How much is that in US $? No clue about shipping though

it calculated out to be $678, thats pretty cheap compared to $1,400.

yahoo auction japan has many good deals, but think about....

-packaging, kit breaking, then making a claim with the freight fowarder (not the same as UPS, Fedex or DHL)...sprial into a nightmare...kit could be coming from WALD reseller in Japan...so maybe out of original packaging

-authenticity, unlikely but there are fake WALD in Japan

-turnaround time, 3 month turnaround for some people on CL...no WALD kit to be found....

-airfreight on a WALD box with current fuel surcharge can be up to 1200 after all is said and done with import fees, airfreight, etc...
