That wouldn't have anything to do with you being boosted.......would it???

Mine seems to be shifting at the same point as before on WOT....about 6000-6200rpms.

No, I had the 3.76 before I got boost and it was happening. After boost it got even worse so I got it out of there.

Try stomping on it in first gear and bringing it all the way to redline and see if it will shift normally for you or hit your limiter.

I have and it still shifts before redline about the 6-6200K mark.......Everything seems to be normal with off the line shifts and downshifts when I floor it on the highway. Just this occasional problem.

the reason you lost 3-4 mpg is because of your LSD. The different gearing carries the car at a higher RPM consistently, therefore causing you to lose mpg. Its right in that 3-4 mpg range, so I would expect it to be permanent.

You might've gotten 24 mpg on the way to work this morning, but comparing your regular driving from before the LSD to your regular driving now show result with you losing a couple mpg.

I guess in this case, we gotta consistently pay to play

but hey the off the line would make up for a couple mpg anyday of the week IMO.

EDIT:

I ran a search and came up with this for u. read the second page, others are documenting the mpg loss as well.
