Well

I bought my car 1 year ago (GS400 with a lot of mods) and I was happy with my headlights. I had an accident and they replaced both headlights, now I'm not all that happy, I can not see like before.

What can I do to improve my lights?

If the shop replaced the lamps with the same, and you were happy before, then the problem is with the spot adjustment. I would take it to the repair shop and ask them to align the lights properly.

Some of it can be done by trial an error, but generally that process ends up, blinding the on-coming traffic.
