The Nav says I'm in Cali ????

I made sure that I have search the proper side of the country, but it doesnt seem to be working right

Is there a way for the signal to find me ?

Have you started driving around yet? Aside from needing to get picked up by a few satellites, it also needs to triangulate your location.

If all alse fails, move to Cali, I think your car is telling you to.

you need to drive down here with your car so it can recalibrate. If it doesnt work, you gotta sell your car to me for dirt cheap.

Johnny, where is your Nav (GPS) antenna located? Don't forget, it must be placed "line of sight..."

The satellite must be able to "see" the antanna.

I put mine on the rear deck (inside the car) next to the subwoofer grille.
If you have the antenna inside the car and have a metallic window tint, this may interfere with the signal.

Did you try removing the HD and re-installing. I would say this would reset it.

Maybe it's set to the wrong region? If yours is HDD kind you have to tell it which of 4 regions of the country you're in.

 

You've got the OE Navi? Yikes... I have no idea where the OE antenna is!

I was thinking you had an aftermarket unit. I have the Pionner AVIC-D1 touch screen unit.

Pull the carpet on the right side of your trunk up, when you see the nav computer look for a black cable that looks similar to antenna wire up front, follow it to find where your antenna is located, mount it on the rear deck if possible.

 

i believe its left of the subwoofer on the rear deck..did you dynamat anything on the deck around there?
