Sup guys, my first time posting here, but i usually post down at the rx300 page, i was just wondering you guys know if any of the TRD or L-tuned products work with my rx300?? because i was looking into a TRD exhaust or something... i need a exhaust haha, my stock one looks sorry... and i already got a weapon r intake, thanks alot

 

i think there is TRD Exhaust and i know there is TRD Way-Lo spring, and that lowers your RX about 1 inch

 

There is this one 4Runner in my town that has a TRD exhaust that I would LOVE to have on the RX! It is an oval shaped exhaust pipe that stick straight out the back.

Saw one on the road not too long ago.. It looked really really nice..

 

I'm 99.9% sure the SS comes with the same exhaust as the regular RX.

I looked at the borla for the RX a little while back but didn't like the look of the turned down pipe in the picture they have on the site. Do you know if that is the only way it comes from Borla? Also, is the sound you hear on borla.com the actual sound of an RX with the exhaust - it sounds very throaty - VERY nice.

I've never heard the RX with a Borla Exhaust so I couldn't tell you.. I have heard the Borla CF Exhaust in person on a GS and that sound clip is pretty accurate so I expect the same to be true for the RX sound clip..

What you might want to look at is a Remus Exhaust and have your local performance muffler shop make one fit for you.. That is probably what I saw on that Silversport RX since I am with you in believing the Silversport Edition has the same exhaust as the regular RX..

Here is a pic that I grabbed off a site that sells Remus Exhaust.. It is pretty close to what I saw.. In person it looks sooo sharp on the RX..

 

2SAVVY, thank you 100 times for telling me about the Remus exhaust. I had read on another site about someone putting the remus on their RX, but never saw a picture nor a web-site. I had searched forever for the remus exhuast. THANK YOU!

What is the URL to Remus's site? The exhaust itself does look great, I do wonder how it would look on the RX...hmmmm. I probably wouldn't be able to do it out the back b/c I have the trailer hitch. I'll bet it sounds good. Now I have some options.

I saw a Rod Millen exhaust on the RX the other day (at a dealer) and it looked a bit big - a little ricey. I need to go see how it sounds. Thanks again for the info.

Your best bet is to try a local high [performance muffler shop and see if they carry Remus in there product line-up.. They would have a catalog and would be more helpful in finding the right Remus muffler to meet your needs.. If you find one that works please PM me since when the little woman and I start a family we'll probably end up with an RX somewhere down the line.. Besides they are gonna be making this SUV's very soon near me and Lexus has already sent me something in the mail asking if I would be interested in visting Lexus RX assembly plant.. Of course I said "YES" "YES"

 

That's true they are going to build them in North America. In Canada right? That's awesome that you get to visit the plant. I would love too. I visited the BMW plant is Spartanburg, South Carolina this summer. They build the X5 and Z3 and Z Roadster there.

I will be sure to posts any modifications that I do.
