Question Warranty Friendly Power

I am new to the forum and am picking up some great info on GS. I just picked up an '03 GS3 and am in need of some (read as much as possible) warranty friendly HP. I like what I have read about the SRT intake and the "+30 HP and +40 ft/lb torque." Is this a realistic increase or just marketing fluff?

Also looking for wheel and tire recommendations. I am thinking staggered 19", any suggestions?

Thanks for the ideas!

I think the numbers your are quoting is the SRT kit for the V8.

I'm sure it will do some help in the GS300 but not THAT much. and like you said it is easy to remove if you need warranty work done.

well for sure the srt wont' be warranty friendly, since they have ecu, and you will have to solder it in

alexulan and rominl:

Thanks for the info. I thought the air flow would be the least invasive power boost. Is there a better solution that will add a fair amount of HP (more than 5-6)?
