Voiding warranty questions have been a long debated topic on this board as well as others. The most important thing for you to remember is that as a consumer you ultimately possess the aftermarket fate of your vehicle. According to law, the burden of proof regarding an aftermarket product voiding any warranty is up to the Dealer itself.

In layman's terms, the Dealer must prove beyond a doubt that a specific aftermarket product is the direct cause of failure of another stock part.

From a SRT viewpoint, I can say that NONE of our customers have experienced a voided warranty as a result of ANY of our products.

SRT offers High Flow Intake Systems, Torque Converters, Supercharging Kits and various soon to be released electronic products. There are tuners who offer Turbo systems, Adjustable ECU's, intakes and a whole pleathera of accessory-type products. Anything you could want is out there.

Once again, remember that you hold the key as to your decision. Don't make a purchase that you do not feel comfortable making, regardless the company or manufacturer. In closing, if you are really worried about voiding your warranty, you probably don't want to make any vehicle modifications.

I hope some or all of this helps.

Thanks.

LExus has to prove that the parts you put on(as long as it is bolt ons) caused the damage that made your car fail.. and most parts will not void warranty status..

Here is a website that will list ALL California approved aftermarket devices.

If it's not CARB Approved, it can void your warranty.

Don't go to that site unless you want to spend a large part of your day looking for options on your car.
