Default new member, new pics!

appreciate all information I have gathered from the site!
this is my 1999 lexus gs400 i purchased 3 months ago, never got around to posting pics.

72k miles, alpine silver, navigation, HIDs, clear fogs

TTE front lip, 3m clear tape front end (including headlights, fogs & mirrors), k&n filter, borla exhaust tips (just enough sound and look for my taste)

as for the stereo setup, im still running the stock navigation headunit with a phoenix gold 500/1 amp. aluma pro 8" subwoofer. i went with the 8 because i lose almost no trunk space. i lose a bit of the upper deck, but as you can see, it fits perfectly on the upper deck.

TTE front lip, clear fogs

corner shot, clear sidemarkers

i need a set of tein CS

borla exhaust tips

aluma pro 8" sub w/ phoenix gold amp

another shot

mods to come:
01+ tails, yellow fogs, tein CS, 20" rims (suggestions?)

thanks for looking!

not bad man.

can't wait to see it after the rims and tein CSs are put on.
as for a wheel suggestion, i am a fan of the HP Evo and just a simple five spoke pattern, but it all really relies on your budget....

keep us posted... and welcome to the family

great job man. how's that sub sound? i like how you retained your trunk space but still added some oomph to the stereo. is that 8 that effective?

Default deja vu

Welcome to CL

I knew the second you showed pics of the car that you bought our old friend SYNERGYs GS. He has since gone to Porsche Heaven (baller) and can still be found there under the same screen name.

It's good to see his ride get a new home and with a local member / enthusiast is even better.

Please be sure to check out the NorCal forums and come and meet your local homies.

We have a meet going on next week actually, but there will be many more throughout the year.

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=202863

We are quite active here in NorCal, so hope to see you and an old friend soon.

As for rims, well heres a pic of Synergy's car at one time. The rims in this pic are still for sale and sitting at my house actually !

The thread on these rims is here: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...light=jawnthen

I suppose you know who to contact for more information .

Again, Welcome and hope to meet you soon.

Yes, this is synergy's old car. Bought a great car from a great guy. I know he returned the car basically back to stock when I bought it, just like I wanted.

As for rims, I'm looking for @ the lexion 503 rims in the classifieds section, but its a bit expensive at this moment. I'm partial to the 5 spokes with big lips!

as for the sub, boy does it knock! It damn near rattles my whole car now. It knocks harder than my 12" JL w6 I had in there before, not to mention how much cleaner the bass is. I'd reccommend this sub to anyone. Its surprising how much this little 8" woofer can do!

Anyone know what's up with the group buy? I emailed but never got an email back on the tein cs's?

Thanks for looking and I appreciate all the comments.

Todd will get back to you, your best bet would be to call on the group buy.
