He's getting MARRIED, not going out with a girlfriend so her opinion does matter no matter how 'Cavenmanish' (yep, word #2) we want to come off as, we all make sacrifices in a relationship based on our partners wishes.
But to come off and question another man's manhood because he JOKINGLY let us know why he now has to explain to HIS fiance why he went back on his word
makes him less of a 'HE-MAN'
As you said:
Your self respect should also be deteremined by the amount of respect you command from others. Your word is the only thing people cannot take away from you so self-respect starts with living up to what you say you are going to do.
You took his joke to another level and one that is entirely personal.

Wow- did this thread go wrong!!
I've never seen a post on shocks turn into unwanted marriage counselling
CONGRATS AUTOMAN
here's my contribution to thread for you......watch out for the top bolt on the CS. It's not tightened by factory and many people don't realize. they also can come loose after a while.
To check/tighten them, you need to hold the shaft in place with one wrench and tighten the nut with another(to about 20-22lbs.)

That is a great pic chuck. Hey Automan congrats on another great purchase. You wont regret the CS, they ride like a dream. Just make sure if you dont install them yourself that when they are done you check the top bolt that Chuck pointed out in his pic. If that isnt tightened you may have problems down the road like I did and have to replace one of your coilovers.
