Smile My Volks Reborn

Well, back in October...I had a run in with a deep pothole going 70mph on the highway. Bent both passenger side wheels

then about three weeks ago dropped them off at Wheel Medic to be fixed....and just got them back today. Please excuse the crappy cell phone pictures and my dirty car (almost looks photoshopped on the car)...I don't know where I can get a good hand wash in Columbus at the moment...since my g/f's place doesn't have a water hose I can use.

I'm pretty happy with them...and I can't wait to get my car cleaned up properly and I can get my DSLR to take better pictures.

Do you have any pics of the rims before they were painted and dented all up. I really like them a lot. Also, what kind of wing do you have, or it it a stock combo with a lip spoiler? Got any pics you can post?

it's tough to keep a car clean during winter out anywhere there's snow and they use salt...especially if you have a black car...looks like the car is silver/grey

Well, the before pictures are pretty much how it looked...they were Mercury Silver from Volk. And the wing is the stock wing with a UGO duck spoiler underneath, I'm not too sure if you can still get that piece anymore.

Here's the car clean...that's about all the pictures I have available at the moment.

sweet ride man. the black on black is great. as far as being dirty... i kinda like it like that. no fooling. especially since you have a black ride with black rims... black rims give that urban assault vehicle look and the muddy spots give it that "been there, done that" rugged look.

also, the dirt lines gives more definition to the contours of the body.

maybe i'm just weird.

it would be different if you had chrome rims.... because then the whole mood of the car is - i've got some shiney shoes- don't get me dirty and don't get my shoes dirty... kinda prissy ya know?

i know - i know... i have chrome rims...
