Default Borla stainless tips...

Would like to get Borla stainless steel tips for the GS (not a whole new exhaust) and looking at the 20155 (oval) model. Wondering if anyone has these and do they fill the gap well. Are they larger than the originals?...I pulled the old ones off months ago so I have no way to measure them compared to the Borlas.

Yes they are a little larger. They fill in pretty good. I put the Borla full mufflers on a couple months ago and I'm really happy with it. Not very loud, just a little purrrrr. For under $500 shipped.

Which muffler model did you get?...Just in case I change my mind and want to go that route. If so do they come with these tips...Or would I have to replace the ones on the new mufflers with these? Do you have a pic...I'd really like to see how it turned out.

1998 - 2004 Lexus Borla Exhaust System Price: $485.00 shipped Qty: 1 Part #: B2511733
I ordered this from autopartswarehouse.com and it came in about 5 days. I don't have a pic right now but if you search in the GS forum for "borla" you will find many pics. Also search the gallery for pics. Dave-GS4 has some good pics and comparisions of the old and new style tips. The old ones are more oval shaped. The new ones are a slight oval and fill in pretty good. I would go for the whole system its just bolt on and it just makes the GS sound better. Not loud and annoying just perfect for me but everyone has their own opinion on exhausts.

For your info I did a search....There are several different types of Borla tips and I was asking a about a specific one which did not come up during the search. Everyone seems to refer to the round or oval ones without item numbers...

regardless, you stated "oval" in your starting post, and "for your info" searching for oval and borla tips would have given you all the info you are requesting here + much more. why bother contradicting me, im right, now go buy your exhaust tips and put them on your car
