After reading this post I just called to have them cancel the clear coat on the lips (that's the way they wee suppose to come ) It will cost $20- 25 more per wheel because they have to mask off the lips I fill it worth it to pay now so i don't pay dearly later w/ even a small cub rash thru the clear coat.
That looks great. Had a similar incident happen to my right front, but my damage was worse. The rim repair shop fixed mine and they look brand spankin new. The first day I got my rim back on the car after the repair, I hit a deer. That was a bad month.
