Torn seal
When I purchased my car it came with a torn door seal.
I had a new one ordered at my local lexus dealership. They told me it would come painted and asked for the paint color. Well it came unpainted. Then I was given the song and dance and now the price has changed since they have to paint it.
If they supposedly ordered a painted one and gave me a price and I got a unpainted one, shouldn't the price of the part go down and then add for paint?
Has anyone else had this replaced and did it come from Lexus painted or unpainted? I guess I trust the paint from Lexus more than my dealership.

I'm pretty sure that piece is supposed to come painted. I would call Carson Toyota on Monday. They sell a lot of stuff to CL Members and I would think they would have a definitive answer. And, I think your point is a good one. If the piece was supposed to come painted, and it didn't, then the price for an unpainted one should be less. In other words, the price you paid should be the price for the final painted product.
Update. The first seal wasn't a blank or unpainted it was black. Somehow they have my car down as a black GS400. After weeks of calling and leaving voicemails and them not being returned, I finally got ahold of the guy and convinced him that he ordered the wrong part. He went directly to parts with my VIN and ordered the correct one for my car.
Come to find out he is a relative of the owner of my Lexus dealership. He no longer works at Lexus but at another dealership under that same relative.
Thanks for all of your help guys.
